About Us

China Challenge Product Development is a company registered in Shanghai, China. It has been set up by two forward thinking Dutchmen who are fluent Mandarin speakers. They came to China 13 years ago aiming to match European design with affordable and high quality engineering and manufacturing in China.

Over the years the company has developed from a two men partnership into a company with over 50 qualified employees amongst which many are specialized and experienced engineers. The company is managed by a Belgian national, with a background in industrial product development and extensive experience with the aerospace industry. He has spent over 15 years in Taiwan and China and is fluent in Mandarin.

Since 2005 we have opened offices in the Netherlands, France and Germany. These offices provide commercial and marketing services and are of key importance in the communication with our clients.

Also in China we have been developing at a fast pace: in 2008 we opened our office in Zhejiang, and we started our own 2000m² assembly unit close to Shanghai. Beginning 2009 we have passed ISO9001:2000 certification.

Our assembly unit specializes in the production of high-end welding products, and in the assembly of plastics and electronics for projects that are IP sensitive.
