1. What Types of measures are in place to protect my designs in China?
For the protection of intellectual property, CHC cooperates with legal advisers to draft disclosure agreements in order to protect the design of your product. These declarations need to be signed by the Chinese production partner. In case of composite or complex products, we can also choose to separate production and assembly to minimize risk.
2. What is the delivery time of a prototype?
If your prototype doesn't require the use of a mould, it will take 1 week to produce it and 3 days to send it via express mail.
3. How long does it take before we can see the first production sample?
This primarily depends on the complexity and the size of the product. For plastic, it will take 4 to 6 weeks to produce a first sample. Aluminium high pressure injection will take up to 8 weeks and sand casting delivery time for the first sample is 4 weeks.
4. How do I arrange for the export of my products?
Goods can be delivered to your door. This means that you don't need to worry about complicated export procedure or logistics problems.
5. Does CHC have partner factories that can produce with high technology processes?
Yes. This is possible but it depends on the required technology. China can, in some circumstances, produce high-tech products which are equivalent in quality to Western products. We have a database to which we can refer, or when special techniques are required we can use our sourcing team to find suitable suppliers to localize this technique.
6. What is the cost to deliver the first sample?
It depends on the product (weight) and the factory (location) producing it. As soon as we have your inquiry we can give you a response.
7. What are the payment terms of CHC?
CHC charges a pre-payment of up to 50% at the time of order and the rest is to be paid at the time of shipment.
8. Is CHC able to import special materials for production?
Yes. No tax is levied on the imported materials because these materials are exported after production. Even though the importation procedure is very complex, CHC has the required experience for this kind of operations.
